DTN COMMENTS:  Cash cattle country is quiet at midday, with bids and 
asking prices not established. Significant trade volume will likely be 
delayed until the second half of the week. A handful of trade was 
reported sold by Mandatory in parts of Iowa at $234 to $236 live and $368 
dressed, but certainly not enough business to establish any kind of trend 
for the week. 

Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (choice 369.27 +0.37, select 364.57 -
2.55) with light to moderate box movement (42.36 lds of choice cuts, 4.51 
lds of select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 12.24 lds of ground). Live 
cattle futures at this time are mixed, mostly modestly higher, while 
feeder issues are also mixed, but they are mostly modestly lower.
